I’ve been signing up for a bunch of different exchanges and I don't always have time/bandwidth to write a new letter so I decided I needed a master letter! One letter to rule all letters, if you will.

First of all, THANK YOU for writing something for me. I know creating something for someone else can be difficult and scary and I am so very appreciative you decided to take the leap. I am a creator who prefers more guidance rather than less so I've written the below assuming you are too. If not, please don't feel fenced in by this letter. I'm generally pretty easy to please and you can assume as long as something isn't on my DNW list, it's fair game!

Another Life

Michael/Prime Philippa: Having a secret relationship. Michael pursuing Philippa, who knows she should resist because of their difference in rank. Sex under the influence of sex pollen that leaves them both confused, ashamed and desperate for it to happen again. Impulsive Philippa making a move on Michael that she knows she should regret. Inexperienced Michael/very experienced Philippa. Michael referring to Philippa as "sir" or "captain" in bed. Gorgeous, heartfelt aftercare.

Michael/Mirror Philippa: Sparring that leads to sex. Angry sex. Michael processing her loss of Prime Philippa by fucking her mirror doppelganger. Pseudo incest, because even though Michael isn't Mirror Philippa's daughter, she also sort of is. Both of them pushing the limits of their new bond with kinky sex. Giving and taking orders. Mirror Philippa hate-fucking the woman who dared fuck her daughter? Yes, please. Prime Philippa turning out to be just as twisted and kinky as Mirror Philippa? I would like to see it.

CR RPF

Ashley-focused fic, either from her point of view or from the pov of someone who adores her. Getting high or drunk on girls night and falling into bed together. Intense platonic bonds and years of sexual tension exploding into kink. Ashley being uncomfortable because she got turned on while being held down filming a scene, and trusting her friends enough to explore that. Filthy banter in bed. Competitive threesomes. I like most genres of music, but I have a particular fondness for modern country, alt rock, and pop music from the 90s on. If a song is on a top 100 karaoke songs list, I probably love it. Favorite artists include Fall Out Boy, Tegan & Sara, Bastille, Florence + the Machine, Taylor Swift, Purity Ring and Krewella. I hate Walk the Moon.

I love vids with femslash, found family, OT3s of all genders, multiships, subtext ships, women being awesome, complicated feelings, grief, power imbalances, sexual tension and grand gestures. Queer is perfect. Dark is awesome. Adult themes, sex, violence, whatever--- bring it on.

I don't love lots of dialogue or text on screen. A line here or there is okay, but generally I find it distracting.

FANDOMS

Another Life (2019)

I care so much about this show and the fandom is like four people who occasionally post on Tumblr about it, but it just got renewed for season 2 so SOMEBODY must be watching it! This show is tropey, horny sci-fi and it's delightful. It has canonical polyamory, a fantastic nonbinary character (played by an enby actor!), and Katee Sackhoff's incredible arms, all of which I love. They rounded up a bunch of total disasters and stuck them on a ship with a hot, buff control freak to lead them and they're all so emotional and drama-prone. Logically there is no way these jerks can save the world, but it's fun to watch them completely bumble their way through trying. I would love a Cas/Niko vid, or a vid focusing on either of them, or one that centers the whole crew as a found family. That last one is probably my favorite idea because even though that captain/first officer femslash is my main squeeze I also love Zayn/Bernie and the Engineering OT3. Honestly, the only kind of Another Life vid I wouldn't be ecstatic about would be a Niko/Erik vid or a vid that focused on the on-Earth shenanigans.

I made an Eleanor/Rachel vid but dear god there's so much room in the universe for another one! Or a Rachel/Astrid vid. Or just a general fun romp vid, because this movie is a fun romp that deserves more vids.

Ghostbusters (2016)

Jillian Holtzman is a frustrating genius who is high on IQ and low on social acumen and I fucking love her for it. Holtzman was the first time I truly saw myself reflected on the big screen, so a Holtzman focused vid would be amazing. I'm also open to shippy vids as long as they include something other than Holtzbert. (Multishipping is great and including Holtzbert there is fine, I'd just rather it not be the sole ship.) Patty is also a fantastic character and I'd love to see something highlighting her as the non-scientist-but-still-vital member of the team. Patty/Holtzman also very cool! This is another found family goldmine.

Into the Badlands

This show is visually stunning, just breathtaking. I love the Widow and Tilda (and the Widow/Tilda) and how complicated their relationship is. A ship or character focused vid for either of them would also be amazing. The only characters I really can't stand are MK and Quinn. I get an Of Monsters and Men feeling about this show but haven't ever found one of their songs that I thought I could vid it to, so if you do, I'd be thrilled!

Overcooked (Video Game)

Woo boy. I have no idea what you would vid this source to or how you'd go about doing it, but it could be amazing. My person and I love Overcooked so much it's going to be in our wedding vows. I'm not even kidding. It's so freaking fun even when you're setting things on fire accidentally and failing miserably. Also the first game has this weird time-travel-backstory that's just totally bizarre. Kevin is the most important being ever.

Things I love: Michael Burnham as a reluctant savior of the universe. Michael/Georgiou (either one) loving or hating each other or both. Women having each other's backs in battle. Georgiou kicking ass and being a dangerous bisexual badass. Michael/Spock (yes, in a hot way, or just in a "we have a deep, complicated bond" way if that's not your thing.) Jett Reno being the queer McGuyver of the 23rd century? Maybe a "holy shit we lived?" kind of vid? I love the ensemble and the team as family feels. I'm not a huge fan of Lorca or the Klingon war in the first season, but other than that I'm pretty open.

FANDOMS

Star Trek: Discovery - I love the contrast between Prime Georgiou and the Emperor and Michael's feelings about both of them. I love Tilly suiting up as Killy. I love how Michael wonders if pretending to be her Mirror version is chipping away at the good in her. Michael/Philippa (either of them! or both!) is a favorite but I multiship all over the place here. Bonus points for including either or both versions of Owosekun and Detmer.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - I'm all about Melinda May. The peril when she was trapped in the framework. The angst when she went forward in time and met the elderly woman who'd been her daughter in the original timeline. Character study, found family, action vid--- they're all awesome. I particularly like May's relationship with Daisy, but there might not be a ton of that in the alternate reality seasons.

Deadpool II - I love the huge gesture Cable makes for Deadpool. It's a moment of genuine kindness and hope that I didn't expect. I also love how out of place Cable is in general, this grumpy block of a man among all this insanity. Plus the "just cleaning up the timeline" tag is a delight.

The Matrix (1999) - Okay, so it's the Matrix, but Trinity is The One. I'd love a Trinity focused vid. I also love the supporting cast of characters-- Switch is a favorite, as is Mouse.

Warehouse 13 - I'm pretty vague on this one since I'd really just like to see more cool W13 vids out there. Maybe a vid focused on Claudia and the alternate dimension her brother was trapped in ("Claudia") or one on the "fix it" time travel that happened after the warehouse blew up ("The Greatest Gift" and "A New Hope"). But if you remember other alternate realities or time travel in W13 that you prefer, go with it! Team as family and femslash are awesome, but I'm open to any ships other than Pete/Myka.

Star Trek: Voyager - Kathryn Janeway is a force of nature who gives zero fucks about this timeline. Seriously, how many times did she totally, gleefully disregard the temporal prime directive? It's amazing. You go girl. Preserving a timeline is for chumps. As always, I love all the women and all the femslash. (She went back in time to save Seven. That's both canon and really gay!)

Multi - Women in the Star Trek Mirror Universe being hot, morally questionable, queer, or a combination of all three. Intendant Kira, Emperor Georgiou, Empress Sato, Sylvia Tilly, Michael Burnham, Ezri Tigan, Keyla Detmer, Joann Owosekun, Jennifer Sisko, Nyota Uhura, Jadzia Dax, T'Pol--- so much badass girl power, so many possibilities.
